No. The AI quotes stock the way you configure it to — and we build in the hedges specialty retailers actually use. Available-to-promise logic respects your buffer rules (never promise the last one, hold back for web orders, etc.), and for high-risk categories the AI defaults to “showing two in stock, but let me hold one for you and we’ll confirm by text before you drive over.” That hold goes on the right staffer’s queue in your POS or Slack. Yes. Brainova Talk handles multilingual calls natively — English, French (including Canadian French), Spanish, and a growing list of additional languages including Mandarin, German, and Italian. The AI detects the caller’s preferred language automatically and books in that language end-to-end. For stores with a heavy bilingual mix (common in Quebec, parts of BC, and border-state US retailers), the AI can also switch mid-sentence if a caller code-switches. Confirmations and reminders go out in the language the booking was made in — so Francophone customers aren’t getting English-only SMS reminders for an appointment they booked in French.
Complaints and complex returns are not something we ask the AI to resolve autonomously — and that’s intentional. For returns, the AI can quote your policy, check eligibility by order number or receipt, and either book a return-drop-off appointment or capture the details for a callback.
